Description :

Outcome Based Education (OBE) has become the fundamental philosophy of Higher Education in Malaysia in the last decade. All curricula including that of teaching, evaluation and assessment will be anchored on the concept of OBE in terms of course designing, instructional planning, teaching, evaluation and assessing student’s learning.

This workshop will concentrate on how you deal with OBE and relate it to teaching, evaluation and assessment. Most importantly, this workshop will serve to prepare academic staff and relevant individuals involved in the academic process to prepare a comprehensive Course Module File that would meet the standards set by the Malaysia Qualification Agency (MQA). In order for participants to be able to understand how to quantify the Course Learning Outcome (CLO) as well as Programme Learning Outcome (PLO), a simplified approach has been adopted that wouldn’t require institution to use sophisticated software.
